Dean's Challenge Scholarships and Fellowships
Thank you to all of the alumni, faculty, staff and friends for their continued support of Dean's Challenge scholarships and fellowships. Your generous support has allowed the Dean to award $40,000 in awards and scholarships to students at all levels. These scholarships and fellowships were established to acknowledge exceptional undergraduate and graduate students who have excelled while making academically challenging choices.

Call for Nominations 2008 - 2009
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking nominations for the Dean's Challenge Scholarships and Fellowships for 2008 - 2009.
The complete nomination application must be submitted by the Undergraduate or Graduate Program Director to Marylou Holly in the CHSS Dean's Office at mailstop 3A3 or mholly1@gmu.edu by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2008. For more detailed information, please see the call for nomination flyer posted below.
Award recipients will be announced by April 15th. Their names will appear in the program for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Convocation to be held on May 15, 2008, and they will be honored at an event sponsored by the dean in the fall.
